A solar PV system is a 25-year electrical asset bolted to your roof. It is exposed to weather, birds, dirt and thermal cycling every day of its life, and almost nobody looks at it after the installer's van pulls away.
We built SolarGuard Ireland around a simple idea: just like you inspect and maintain your car, your solar PV system deserves regular attention too. Inspect it, document it, and identify issues while they're still small.
Because we don't sell installations, our inspection reports are independent. If your system is in good shape, we'll tell you that and go home. If something is unsafe or underperforming, you'll get photographs, plain-English findings and a prioritised list of what actually matters.
We work with homeowners across Ireland who want an independent view of the condition and performance of their existing solar PV system.
What we do and don't do
SolarGuard specialises in PV inspection, thermal imaging, maintenance, cleaning and bird protection. We do not provide electrical installation, electrical testing, electrical certification or specialist electrical repairs as part of our standard services. Where further specialist investigation is required, we will clearly identify this in the inspection report.
Independent
We don't sell or install panels, so our findings have nothing to upsell behind them.
