How often should my PV system be inspected?: Many homeowners choose an annual PV inspection so the visible condition and performance of the system is recorded consistently over time. Annual inspection is a recommendation, not a legal requirement.
Do you cover my county?: We work nationwide across Ireland. Travel is included in the quoted price — you'll never get a separate callout charge.
Is thermal imaging included in every inspection?: No. Thermal imaging is an optional upgrade to the standard PV inspection, carried out under suitable conditions. Thermal images and observations are then included in your report.
Do you carry out electrical testing?: No. SolarGuard specialises in PV inspection, thermal imaging, maintenance, cleaning and bird protection. Where specialist electrical investigation is required, we identify it clearly in the inspection report.
What do I receive afterwards?: A SolarGuard PV Inspection Report with observations, photographs, thermal images where included, and clear recommendations. There is no online account or dashboard — the report is yours to keep.
